Citizen TV Presenter Timeless Noel, musician Jabidii and Didiman are begging musician Kevin Bahati to go back to the gospel industry.
The three met with Mtoto wa Mama at Mwalimu Churchill’s event and reminded him of the day he swore that he will never leave God after winning several awards.
"This guy said that he will never leave,” Jabidii reminded him.
Timeless Noel interjected with a question; “When are you coming back, my brother?
Quickly Bahati tried to defend himself saying; “I have a whole album full of Love songs, where would I take it?
Timeless replied; “We will consider that as the Songs of Solomon, as long as you have not said anything bad in there,”.
He further promised that that they will welcome Bahati very well when he decided to return to the gospel industry.
“We will welcome you very well and even try comparing between the two- (gospel and secular) which one had more value to you… Brother we love you. We have agreed if you come back, we will organize a concert for you and everything will be well,” Noel added.
So when are you coming back? Former Kelele Takatifu member Didiman asked.
Bambika host Timeless Noel insisted that even Bahati’s followers on Instagram belong to the gospel industry as he crossed over when he already had a huge following.
Feeling cornered by the artists, Bahati confessed that he loves the gospel music industry.
“I love the gospel industry… it has a special place in my heart and that is my foundation,” Bahati said before ending the discussion abruptly.
Gospel singer Daddy Owen joined the conversation, echoing the Timeless Noel’s sentiments;
“This young man should come back to Gospel music... that’s where his grace is.. I still pray for him. May God bless you @bahatikenya,”.
