Kenyan music sensations Arrow Boy In a revealing interview with Chito and Kwambox shed light on the joint EP with Nadia Mukami, navigating the music industry, and the delicate balance between marketing and authenticity.

Arrow Boy openly addressed rumours surrounding their past breakup, emphasizing the challenges of real-life relationships and the complexities of the music world.

A Genuine Breakup and the Trials of Marriage

Arrow Boy did not shy away from sharing the truth about their relationship: ''True story that time we broke up foreal, tuliseparate na tulikuwa tumeongela hiyo story, ilikuwa ni real na kukuwa kwa ndoa si mchezo jamani its not so rosy venye watu wanaionanga huko nje so haikuwa clout''

Music Marketing vs. Authenticity

The conversation steered towards the dynamics of music marketing and the impact of clout in the industry. Arrow Boy candidly expressed, While some songs can do well with proper marketing alone, others require more than that.

''But nyiynyi pia mnapenda clout, wanaanchi wanapenda clout  wanapenda tu hizo mbwembwe but there are some songs ukitoa tu with proper marketing ngoma inaenda lakini kunazingine tu zinahitaji ka sinema na hapa kule.''

He insisted that when they released their joint EP, the breakup rumors did not influence it at all.

''We broke up sometime back, tukakaa tukaeka tofoauti zetu kando ndio joint Ep ikacome, hio time rumour ya break up nobody released any music.''

He noted that If it were just a clout move, they would have rushed to release music during that time, but they took their time to craft the EP properly.

Rising Above the Rumors: Radio Love and Raha

Discussing their joint EP's success, Arrow Boy highlighted,

''Tumetoa 'Radio Love' ilikuwa na mad chemistry, tukatoa 'Raha' same thing, so watu walikuwa wanataka kutuskia tena sana ndio tukasema lets come up with a joint ep tuone venye itafanya''

Fans were eager to hear them together again, and they didn't disappoint.  According to Arrow Boy the truth is, if it was just a clout move, the music wouldn't have connected with the audience the way it did.
