For the second time this year, the musical band Elani is trending on Twitter, and all for good reasons.
Fans are lost without them and express this in words pleading for some music.
The group through their Facebook has reacted to the pleas.
"Heavy on gratitude 🙏🏾 wenye wanatuombea heartbreak kitawaramba 🤣🤣🤣" Brian captioned the hilarious response.
Maureen Kunga, Wambui Ngugi, and Brian Chweya were the powerful voices behind the band. Their vocals left us all with chills.
The former trio took a break in a move that shocked their fans.Their last album was 'The Color of Love'.
Their youtube channel has well over 100k subscribers and 74 videos.
The Barua ya Dunia trio 2022 spoke to Kamene Goro where they addressed their breakup.
Speaking during an interview with Kiss FM, Maureen, and Brian said that they left the music scene when the 2020 COVID pandemic affected the country.
Brian was doing solo projects and urged fans to support him.
Maureen stated,
“Project-wise, during the Pandemic, Brian took a project away from the group and we have supported him throughout because the group is stronger when individuals get stronger.”
