Media personality Jacque Maribe has said that showing off one's wealth should not be made a big deal by netizens.

The mother of one appeared to be defending her baby daddy Eric Omondi who on Thursday, May 18, went online to show off how much money he has.

Omondi was reacting to Oga Obinna who said his PR stunts are funded by politicians and has no real wealth.

Eric showed off suitcases of money, saying "Hii ni 15 million na bado sijakuonyesha za bedroom. "

The backlash from netizens accusing him of being tone-deaf followed.

Jacque has commented about the sharp reaction from Kenyans.

Commenting on a post on Mpasho (BELOW) Jacque told off Kenyans that they should catch flights and not feelings.

"I'm here. Mrs. K usually doesn't respond but the rain today made me happy. Civilization ndio we lack. Don't catch feelings, catch flights," she said.

This also did not go down well, as Kenyans attacked her.

She responded to the fan "I can't, I respect him for who he was in my life, unfortunately, we didn't share it with you at the time"

Another fan beatrice_goin_crochet shared the emoji "@jacquemaribe 😂😂😂"To which she reacted "@beatrice_goin_crochet "It's like these people with nothing to say think we don't see. Nitawajibu mimi thick skin is my portion"

Jacque and Eric share a son named Zahari. in 2022, she was in a tussle with Eric over child support.

Eric questioned if he was the biological father of the child. "After two months Jacque tells me she's pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used protection. She then tells me "It doesn't matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!"

The comedian further claimed that he only heard from Jacque four months after the baby was born when she was requesting him to be part of the baby's life.

Eric Omondi later asked for a DNA test which allegedly offended Jacque and has turned down the request.

"@sabastianogonda ...I can't respect him for who he was in my life unfortunately we didn't share it with you at the time,".
