On Sunday, nominated senator Karen Nyamu wrote a motivational ode on her Instagram page.

In that post, the mother of three talked about how she is determined to fulfill God's purpose for her so much that the words of people who aim to bring her down never bother her.

"She's not letting their opinions sidetrack her from God's purpose for her life😇Have a blessed sunday🤗🤗," she wrote.

The politician attached the message with a picture of herself with the leader of the majority in the national assembly, Kimani Ichung'wah.

In the picture, the two were seen chatting on stage with happiness written on their faces. Ichung'wah was wearing blue jeans, a patterned shirt and a sleeveless jacket while Karen Nyamu was wearing a long yellow dress.

In the comments section, one Instagram user criticized her dress claiming "That dress is not for moms."

Nyamu who didn't seem to be disturbed by the comments sarcastically replied, "juz7350 next time nitavaa ya virgin kama mimi🤣"

Another fan warned her co-parent Samidoh after seeing a good union between Nyamu and Kimani Ichung'wa.

"Samidooooo samido samidoo nimekuita mara gapi😂😂😂😂😂😂 hii karibu inaenda😂😂,"  nikita_ndungu said in the post.  The UDA senator simply replied by saying, "Si rahisi."
