Kenyan radio host King Kalala has told of relatives and friends who demand money from someone just because they do not have kids.
In most African settings, people with no kids are seen not to have any responsibilities.
Many are expected to contribute to events ranging from baby showers, and funeral committees among other things with no qualms.
Through her TikTok, Kalala says it's her money and she can do whatever she wants.
" To all our friends and families who think they are entitled to our money because they have kids and we don't. Ati send me your money kwani what are you doing with money in Nairobi and you don't have kids?
I am using it to get drunk, dress like slut, and eat. Will you beat me for it?"
Kalala also called out people who plan lavish baby showers and expect people to contribute
"You are of class 2015, I see you adding me to a baby shower group whose budget is 60,000. I won't contribute.
Was I there when you guys were mating?
The only thing I can bring is alcohol, if you don't like it, too bad for you. Also, how do you ask me to send you money when you are married?
Ask your hubby to deduct whatever you want from your dowry and give you. If not he can join a betting site maybe he will get rich." Kalala Warned
