The head coach of the Al Nassr team, Rudi Garcia is on the verge of being fired after the owners of the club reportedly got fed up with his coaching of the Saudi Arabian club.
The Frenchman is expected to leave his role immediately after his departure was prompted by a deteriorating relationship with the dressing room and his squad teaming up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Nassr moved three points clear of the Saudi Pro League leaders after their recent 5-0 away win, but they failed to build on that momentum in a 0-0 draw with Al Feia on Sunday.
His withdrawal comes following Ronaldo's angry comments which saw him storm off the pitch and shout at opposition players that they 'don't want to play', Spanish newspaper Marca reports.
The furious 38-year-old striker then went straight down the tunnel after the final whistle. Blaming the Al-Nassr players after the performance, Garcia said: 'I don't feel satisfied with their performance.'
More information says that the Portuguese international player is not happy with the methods used by Garcia who feels he should get more of his Al-Nassr teammates.
The 59-year-old coach took over as manager in the summer as a replacement for Argentine Miguel Angel Russo.
His arrival was followed by the club's capture of Ronaldo for a huge sum of money who saw his contract terminated at Manchester United before signing a £175 million a year contract with Al-Nassr.
News of differences in the dressing room have been increasing throughout the season and Garcia has criticized the team for trying 'too much' to involve Ronaldo.
In January, Garcia said after the 1-0 win: 'It's very important for the players to play normally and not always try to give Cristiano the ball.'
