The star of Al-Nassr football club, Cristiano Ronaldo has strongly denied the allegations of betraying his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez after the Portuguese media reported that he had an affair with the Venezuelan blogger Georgilaya.

Georgilaya claimed that the incident happened last year on March 25, 2022, when the Portuguese team (captained by Cristiano Ronaldo) was preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The former Manchester United player is said to have spent the night with Georgilaya at the Solverde hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia, northern Portugal, in room number 312.

Georgilaya claims that Ronaldo sent her a message inviting her to his room after taking selfies with him and other soccer players.

He wrote on Instagram, according to The Sun. "When I read the message, I thought if I go there we will just talk, get to know each other well, maybe I will get another picture, I didn't think that there would be more to that situation.

The truth is, it happened. It was accepted on my part, but despite that, I felt cheated, by the fame and power of Cristiano Ronaldo," said the model.

Georgilaya claims to be tormented by the guilt of the affair, due to cheating on her husband by sleeping with the footballer.

She also doesn't want 'fame or money' and has revealed text messages from Ronaldo and his friends, including Jose Semedo.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner quickly denied the allegations after the news was published in Correio da Manhã in Portugal.

His spokesman said: "This is completely false and defamatory." Ronaldo's family said the claims were just attention-seeking allegations.

The Real Madrid legend has been dating his current girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez since 2016 when they met at the Gucci store in Madrid.

Georgina is currently a model and has three biological children and three stepchildren with Ronaldo.

The couple moved to Saudi Arabia in January 2023 following the Portuguese star's move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr on a two-year deal.

Their move drew attention when Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez ran afoul of a law that says unmarried people are not allowed to live together.
