The beautiful Tessy Chocolate, who is Aslay Isihaka's baby mama, has narrated a weird act that happened to her after her iPhone exploded while it was charging.

Tessy uploaded a video of the phone completely burnt but also the bed pillow which she had placed it on while still charging.

"Guys, let's not sleep with the phone on charge. This happened to me today, the phone was charging, it exploded and caught fire. It exploded, we are confused, it was on charge," Tessy said.

Tessy said that the incident happened at dawn when she was sleeping in bed and next to her was her iPhone which was plugged into the charger.

"We were sleeping at six in the morning. He was the one who was sleeping on the side where the phone exploded, it was his phone.

What happened was an explosion and then the fire came out. It was something like 30 seconds, it happened very quickly," Tessy said.

The lady asked people to be careful and put their phones on the charger and then put them away while sleeping because the damage that can be caused by an explosion is great beyond description.

Tessy said that they were lucky because the explosion happened at dawn when they were at least asleep, and said that if it was midnight during a dream sleep then something else would have happened to them.

According to scientific experts on electronic devices, it is not recommended to keep electronic devices on the pillow or next to your bed while you are sleeping with them plugged into the charger as they may catch fire and explode.

"Do not charge any electrical devices, including phones and tablets, on your bed or under your pillow while you sleep as they may overheat and cause a fire.

If possible, avoid charging devices unattended or overnight," Electrical Safety First advises.
