Veteran gospel singer Christina Shusho has for the first time opened up about what they talked about with Harmonize last year when they suddenly met in Kenya, and Harmonize ran to her and kissed her feet.
In a special interview with a news station in Tanzania, Shusho said that after the act was caught by the paparazzi, they went to a private room and had a bigger conversation.
Shusho said that one of the things she was happy to hear from the artist was that he liked listening to her gospel music.
"I had the opportunity to sit and talk with him, he said something that touched my heart. He said 'Sister, I really like your songs, when you sing your songs, you educate us about God, you direct us to know God and do not force us, you leave us the choice to decide to follow God or continue with our affairs,'" Shusho quoted the words from Harmonize's heart.
He said that the artist also ended by telling her in a sincere voice that due to the encouragement he gets from her songs, one day she will see him in church.
"That makes me listen to your songs a lot, I'm very interested in wanting to know what you're singing. And I'm sure one day, you'll see me in church," Shusho quoted Harmonize as saying.
It is well known that Harmonize is a Muslim and Shusho is a Christian who started her church last year.
The declaration that Harmonize will one day join the church and Shusho is a sign that he might be thinking of changing his religion from Islam to Christianity.
Shusho said that Harmonize's statement gave her great encouragement and she knew that there are many people she is touching and bringing them closer to God through her singing.
