Diamond Platnumz left Dubai and secretly jetted back into Tanzania after weekend-long festivities abroad.
In Dubai, he attended a party for a Tanzanian friend plus a Chris Brown event. He showed he was enjoying single life surrounded by beautiful women rocking cute outfits.
He is now back in Tanzania without much fanfare where Zuchu and Diamond met at a private party hosted by Mama Dangote on Sunday, Feb 27.
Zuchu was invited by Diamond's mother and received well by his family, leading many fans to speculate what might be going on.
In videos shared by Wasafi TV, Zuchu is seen being hugged by Diamond's mother and sister Esma, warmly welcoming her to the bash.
We do not get to see if Diamond and Zuchu talk. Also at the party is Ricardo Momo, Diamonds half brother. The singer and Ricardo share a father Salumu Nyange, but different mothers.
In another video, Zuchu is showered with money by Sports personality Haj Manara. Diamond was recently in London and Dubai, where he bought Zuchu a chain.
The singer shared a video on his Instagram stories showing him in a jewelry store buying the luxurious pieces.
The chain he bought for her had her face. The thoughtful gift had many wondering if they had truly broken up or were doing celebrity clout chasing as fans tend to speculate.
It will be interesting to find out if he did hand over the expensive chain, and what her reaction was.
The two have successfully confused netizens because, on Valentine's day, Zuchu shared a beautiful picture wearing Arabic outfits, as his family hinted she looks like a cute bride.
Four days later, she dumped him. The 'Sukari' musician deleted Diamond's pictures from her social media a week ago.
She instructed people not to tag her on any Diamond-related content, signaling she had dumped him on Feb 18.
On his part, Diamodn confirmed the news. He said they had broken up, noting they are like brother and sister.
To explain the split, he said,
"Kwa pamoja na Zuhura tunaomba tuwataarifu ya kwamba kwa sasa sisi ni dada na kaka na si wapenzi kama ilivyokua ikidhaniwa ama wengine kujua ...mnaruhusiwa wachumba na wake ama waume kwa tutawaridhia...lakini muwe na vibarua vinavyoeleweka sio mje kutuchuna maana atuhongi hovyo," he said.
