Nasra cries after visiting people affected by drought

Churchill comedienne Nasra Yusuf was left in tears after visiting people affected by drought.

Nasra says she never thought the situation was that bad until she saw it herself.

She is now appealing to Kenyans to help with the little they have. She is currently in Wajir.

Through her socials she penned;

"I had heard about the drought situation but I never thought much about it since I have food and water in my house.

 I can't sleep knowing people are struggling this much."

Adding;

"I’m bringing attention to the drought situation in the country and especially Wajir, this is one of the IDP camps, people are struggling and I can’t just let it slide, what can we do team Nasra?"

Nasra was accompanied by Umrelief who offered medical attention to the people by offering free eye surgeries.

"Day 2 IN WAJIR KENYA 🇰🇪 yesterday with @umrelief we showed you all the people who were suffering from blindness due to their cataracts.

24 hours later with your donations, these are the results! This is what your 100$ donation is doing! After the surgeries, these people can SEE AGAIN ALHAMDULILAH!

There are still THOUSANDS of people in Wajir who suffer from cataracts and we need to raise the funds to keep supporting their operations ♥️

 Imagine the rewards Allah will give you every time someone sees something that pleases Allah..Subhanallah.

That 100$ we spend on dinner can literally save someone’s life..the link is in my bio to donate. Open your heart and SHARE THIS VIDEO! ♥️ #DONATE #WAJIR"
