Mumias East MP Peter Salasya and Bomet woman rep Linet Toto met over the weekend and a picture of the moment has gone viral.
The two were photographed together in Bomet county during prophet David Owuor's crusade on Sunday, February 19.
Taking to Twitter, Salasya expressed his gratitude to the County leadership for extending an invitation to him and for the warm reception.
"Mimi hapa ni pastor salasya a very powerful preacher outside politics🔥🔥🔥 Hehe Bomet people are amazing 👏 I loved people of bomet plus their leadership they fear God and the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom Thank you@BarchokHillary @LinetChepkorir_@VictorMandazi"
He added in a sermon they are young leaders ready to work together to bring change to Kenya.
"What a successful day and a blessed one when I joined thousands of thousands of ministry of repentance at Bomet stadium THANK YOU SO MUCH GOVERNOR @BarchokHillary HON @LinetChepkorir_ Toto Area MP of Chepalungu "@VictorMandazi For making me feel at home in Bomet," he tweeted.
The two hit the news last week after Linet Toto criticized ODM leader Raila Odinga in scathing remarks.
"He started in 1997 before I was born. He came to 2002, 2007, 2017, and now 2022. He has always claimed his illusive presidential win has been stolen," Toto lashed at Raila.
Her comments did not go down well, and she trended heavily.
Toto told Raila that President William Ruto was legitimately elected by the people of Kenya during the August polls.
