Dancer Moya David has revealed that she has taken a patent for his style of dancing that he normally uses when he presents gifts to people he has been sent to surprise.

Speaking on Tuesday at the launch of his new shop in Kitengela, David said that he had to take a patent for his dances because for a long time, he has been seeing people misusing it and others copying it without even realizing that he is the founder of that type of dance.

"I have taken Moya David's patents and right now I have taken the patent for my dancing style. I did it because it's a style that comes naturally to me and sometimes I see people misuse it that's why I took the patent. It's my creativity but people sometimes don't give me the recognition I deserve. Anyone who tries to imitate my style the law will take its course. I have patented all the dance styles that I do," the dancer said.

Many felt that Moya's clear statement that he will take legal action against those who copy his styles is aimed at content developer Trevor Silaz who also does the same as Moya from dancing to the white ribbon he ties on his head.

The content developer on Tiktok also issued a strong warning to all those who operate fake accounts on social media pretending to be him in order to lure and defraud Kenyans.
