Marioo Tz is set to join WCB as Diamonds signee. This announcement was made Saturday night January 28 as Marioo unveiled his album 'the Kid you know'.
Diamond Platnumz's manager SK Sallam made the revelation saying, "Marioo kweli ana mazungumzo na Diamond , they have a song coming out so I cannot say hayo mengine ni personal," he shared in an interview with EFM Tanzania.
The highly anticipated launch saw Kenyan David moya, Ali Kiba, Fridah Kajala, Former President Kikwete among others attend the event.
Diamond Platnumz did not show up to the album launch despite being invited and his appearance was teased to fans.
Neither did Harmonize, who was also expected to attend. David Moya shared his excitement at being in the shop.
"One of my plans this year was to make sure I get to surprise Marioo TZ on stage during one of his performances with his own song Mi Amor."
In a video of Moya on stage, Marioo happily watches Moya make his trademark dance moves.
"I was eagerly awaiting for this particular day and it finally came to pass. I flew all the way to Tanzania to attend his album launch as a way of showing support and also to show some love to my TZ fans. I can't thank you enough. To more achievement this year," he captioned a video.
Marioo has meanwhile thanked his legion of fans and those who turned up for supporting his musical journey.
Hours after the show he wrote, "Niwashukuru wote waliofanikisha,kuangalia na kuhudhuria show ya album "The Kid You Know"..ILIBAMBA Sina cha kuwalipa zaidi ya Mziki Mzuri. Asanteni."
