Kenya's newest rapper in town, Presenter Ali has opened up about his beef with social commentator Andrew Kibe.
The two have been squabbling on social media, with their banter forcing Kenyans to take note. He even has a diss track aimed at Andrew Kibe dubbed 'Kiben 10'.
In their past, Kibe had attacked Ali's woman, leading to the sharp reaction.
Speaking to Mpasho's Kalondou Musyimi on Friday, February 19th, Ali said the purpose of the diss track was to make a satire of Kibe's life.
"Once alinitaja, what people don't know is alipo nitaja I didnt want to respond."
In subsequent beef, Ali alleged that Kibe is a Ben 10 for an older woman. Is this true? "Siwezi nika kataa pia sababu sijui," laughing, before adding, "But I remember that I heard that allegation from Eric Omondi for the first time for me I just took the whole idea to another level."
Kibe's daughter appeared in the video and it was rumoured that Ali was dating her. At the time, he agreed he has been going out with the daughter, "Yes" he shared.
"Sisi marafiki tuu. She reached out herself wanting to be my friend," he clarified.
He insists he wasn't using Kibe's daughter as revenge.
"I saw this as an opportunity to make money, so everything that you saw from the texts to the video, preparing us for the diss track."
Their discussions as friends have been personal but he added that Kibe and his daughter are not on good terms. "Hiyo ni personal and that information will be kept between the two of them."
Ali added that his manager told him was an opportunity to make money. His manager then went ahead and reacted to Kibe's diss.
"He was the one responding, I didnt respond to him ni kama kumrushia kuku mahindi."
This action prompted Andrew Kibe to go online and verbally attack Ali.
"He just got into our trap, we were literally baiting him and he got into our box and once he did that, we wanted to respond to how he reacted to that."
Ali said he and his manager then planned an appropriate response, which resulted in a date with Kibe's daughter.
'I knew if I responded to him in a video format it was actually going to be taken very seriously lakini when you give a response as art that is entertainment."

Ali also revealed that brands offered money proving it was an opportunity to make money.
"Anytime he just mentions me I will take that opportunity to make money with it, so it's upto them to use me as content."
Does this mean there is real beef?
"Personally I do not have beef with him I think my brand is too big and too clean for beef."
