The healing journey after King Kaka was discharged from the hospital directed the family to God.

Back in 2022, King Kaka narrated how he nearly died after doctors misdiagnosed his ailment.

He lost over 30Kgs in that duration and sadly was even given a month to live.

He wa in and out of the hospital, until September when he went public with news of his illness.

“I was misdiagnosed. Lost 33kgs and in the process, we started hospital visits. Did all the tests and they were negative. The funny thing is I feel no pain and we are still hopeful we will get the solution soon,” King Kaka shared.

The rapper's wife Nana Owiti has taken to her social media to celebrate her King.

She noted how his hospitalization took a toll on her but was determined to be the rock her husband needed.

She tells about her closeness to God

"Man! I don’t know about you but I know God exists because we experienced His love, he touched our hands and we saw His face all in His own timing. Anyway, Please Hang in there if you are going through a tough time.

"It shall pass. As I always say, stop trying to calm the storm-It’s impossible, Calm yourself and the storm will pass. I love you guys 💕"

She added that his thin frame was so concerning that he would wear a hat to hide just what he was going through

"On my phone memories, this pic just made an appearance, and my God! Let’s just say, I shed a tear. Why am I lying? I cried and ‘crode’. Forgive my massacre to the Queen’s language.

"Gai! Look at that bucket hat and how big it was(he would wear those mostly to mask his predicament. To avoid questions and try to look normal. We had just left the hospital here so as you can imagine, the days and nights before this were longer.. @thekingkaka could barely sit on this chair for 3 minutes. His bones were feeble."

According to Kaka, the doctor narrowed down his condition to HLH, sepsis, or blood infection.
