• Victoria has told of her happiness at how thoughtful they were to remember her birthday.

Citizen TV presenter Victoria Rubadiri celebrated turning a year older on Saturday, January 28. The media personality is now 35.

She was pleasantly surprised by her colleagues with a cake during a live broadcast.

Her workmates appeared from behind the scenes singing happy birthday and holding a cake as she turned around in surprise at the turn of events.

Reacting to the surprise Victoria appeared to hold back tears saying. "Oh my goodness, wow!" she gushes in happiness.

She was on air with co-host Rashid Abdalla who smiled away as she expressed shock. The unexpected gesture almost made Rubadiri cry as she wiped the sides of her eyes.

She peeps inside the box to show TV audiences that she was given an all-white cake written happy birthday.

"Whaaaat are you serious, awwwww thank you niseme nini sasa," and from queries about her age, she jokingly said, "I'm turning 16."

Rubadiri takes out her phone to take pictures of the cake and thanks her crew again for the gesture.

Loulou Hassan shared the video of the Citizen team surprising Vicky as they call her. Loulou captioned it

"The warmest wishes to a great member of our team. May your special day be full of happiness, fun, and cheer!”
