Rashid Abdalla and his wife Lulu Hassan have joined a host of celebrities in wishing Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu a happy birthday.
Suluhu turns 63 today.
The two shared a joint video, to celebrate President Samia - showering her with words as they praise her leadership.
"Today is a very special day for Tanzania It's the day mama you celebrate turning 63 years. " began Lulu.
Rashid agreed, passing on his message and talking about how her leadership was a new beginning for the country.
"Nakumbuka siku uliweza kulazimika kuweza kukua na busara ujasiri kuchukua mikoba ya kuiongoza Tanzania"
Rashid and Lulu celebrated her style of leadership noting the strides she has made for the girl child in Tanzania.
President Dr Samia became the sixth President of Tanzania on 19 March 2021, following the death of President John Magufuli. She served as Vice President of Tanzania from 2015.
Suluhu was born on 27 January 1960 in Makunduchi, an old town on Unguja island, in the Sultanate of Zanzibar.
President Suluhu has responded to several of the birthday wishes, with one of them being a young journalist who tagged her pleading for a chance to interview her.

Samia responded by saying; "Happy Birthday Vivian, and thank you for the wishes. My aides will reach out to you to schedule a meeting. I look forward to speaking with you."
