Chipukeezy says he is very supportive of his ex-girlfriend Kibanja dating. The socialite trended earlier this week after pictures of her in Dubai on vacation with a mysterious man.
Speaking to SPM Buzz early Thursday, January 12, Chipukeezy weighed in on his ex dating again after they broke up, saying "give her space and respect to live her life huwezi kumwona unione".
Why didn't he wish her a happy birthday? "Wachaneni na huyo msichana aishi maisha yake bana unajua si ni watu wazima bana she si in a relationship unafaa ukuwe na heshima I feel like,....ehe...I don't know how to say it," he left it at that.
Chipukeezy said that Kenyans should not expect to see who he is dating. He said he has learnt a lesson from going public about his dating life in the past.
"Public figures don't have to tell people about their privacy. I've learnt."
He went on to stress,
"Honestly when I see that nonsense when I see people do that (publicizing relationship) do you, but from where I sit pssshhh."
Will he share about his love life? "Itakuwa ngumu sipangi msitarajie, msingojee mambo ya kimapenzi ni mambo ya nyumba, mimi nikipatana na mtu leo tunapanga kazi."
He added that social media in-laws who are nosy will not suspect a thing,
"My relationship moving forward is private, issues zangu na mabibi zangi ni uissues zangu."
The comedian also waded into the debatable topic of how difficult it is to date in Kenya nowadays.
"Mapenzi iko kama uko na pesa."
