The WCB boss said he also instructed Marioo to think about the move and their conversation before making a decision.
He added that he promised to help the Bongo star with any problems he was going through.
"I told him if you have problems, come to the office and we will give him the money. We talked well and my younger brother Marioo understood me," he said.
Marioo had however denied the claim made by the 'African Beauty' singer saying that his fellow singer had a slip of the tongue.
Following this, veteran Bongo musician Baba Levo (who is also Diamond's companion), has come out to defend him while claiming that Marioo had sent him many times to the WCB boss to ask him to sign him onto the famous label.
"My little Marioo Today you deny that you didn't ask to be signed by @diamondplatnumz!!? REALLY..!? How many times have you texted me and have I flattered you to @diamondplatnumz," he wrote on Instagram.
The veteran singer asked Marioo to accept the truth while explaining that it is a thing of the past.
