Akothee's younger sister Cebbie Koks Nyasengo has a few words of advice for keyboard warriors who feel entitled to push their opinions down people's throats.
Cebbie feels that bullies have a twisted version of humility and importance in people's lives.
"To social media bullies, humility is: I'm going to punch you in the face and you should say nothing, do nothing, and even that nothing, don't do it at all," she started off her statement.
She went on to highlight the irony of how bullies expect people to act around them.
She went on to muse on how people like having a say in other people's lives or make terrible jokes but when roles are switched they get extremely offended.
"How possible is that!" Cebbie angrily asked.
She went on to add, "Why tell people things or jokes you can't take in yourself? Huh"
Cebbie added that some days she chooses to let things slide and extend grace as she ignores the hate she sees spewed online but on other days she can barely take it and feels no need to extend grace to trolls.
"Some days I'm very humble, others I choose to ignore while sometimes I lash it out.
Don't say things just because it's social media, hapana!" Cebbie added
She finished off by encouraging people to learn to use social media to their advantage and earn from it other than constantly belittling others.
"I've told people over and over again, make great networks, build yourself, package yourself because there's no easy money than one on social media but hamskii.
Mnadhani matusi (you think insults/being a troll) pays. Lol never seen corporate or brands hire PR gurus from insulting and disrespecting other humans," Cebbie signed off.
