Till death do us part, 'I do, and 'in sickness and in health' theses are some of the delightful words that every couple wishes to finally utter to seal their life-long covenant but unfortunately, it is not guaranteed to last.

Well, sometimes the words sell themselves short to the dismay of the love birds, and some end up calling it quits never to try again.

Here's a list of some Kenyan celebrities who got into marriage and ended up publicly regretting their decisions later.

1. Idah Alisha

The mother-in-law star Idah Alisha aka Olive came out to confess to being married early to a churchman who turned abusive.

Speaking to Youtuber Lynn Ngugi Idah got candid about how he was not only abusive but a control freak at the same time telling of her experience being married early:

"The guy was 28 and I was 21, I did not know him much and I was at the peak of my career.

When I look back I think we had trauma bonding. His dad was very abusive and so was my dad. At the time I did not know much about trauma bonding. When you are raised in an abusive relationship you either become the abuser or the victim," she narrated.

The star has since found love and embraced a brand new version of what love means to her.
