Gloria Muliro marks beautiful milestone in her marriage

Gospel singer Gloria Muliro and her husband Evans are celebrating their one year wedding anniversary.

She has returned on social media after a long hiatus to inform her fans that it's been one year of bliss.

"Happiest Anniversary my best friend, my moshene partner, my husband. Your love is a gift that I open everyday. Here’s to you, here’s to us, here’s to many more happy years together. Happy anniversary hun! I love you."

When they got married, Gloria dropped the surprise news online revealing that she did it in new York.

"Finally finally...My autumn wedding in New York." she had in 2021 captioned their official photo.

The musician tied the knot in a colourful wedding in New York, six years after she parted ways with her then music producer husband, Eric Omba.

Her husband Evans Sabwami is an American citizen and pastor. He is also in the field of engineering and graphic art.

In 2015, Gloria split with her first husband pastor Omba over claims of infidelity. Months after the split, she spoke up.

Speaking on KTN’s Sunday programme, Tukuza, Gloria then recalled her experience saying,

“I remember one time when I prayed and asked God to remind me what peace feels like. For me having this peace, having the joy of the Lord and finding myself is enough. I had totally lost myself. I have found and collected myself back together.”

Gloria confirmed in the interview that her first marriage with Pastor Omba was riddled with mistreatment.

“It has been a challenge and a learning process. I have learnt a lot of lessons! One of the things that I appreciate and never take for granted is peace,” she said.

Adding, “In this life, people pass through a lot! All in all, God is good – you can see his manifestation in me.”

Gloria insisted she did her best. “For me as woman and wife; I was dedicated and determined to make it (marriage) work. I am not saying I tried my best; I did my all best!”

She also encouraged others saying, “For anyone who is going through a situation and feels like he is losing hope or things are not working out, try God. When you have favor with God, you have it."
