Kenyan comedian Sande Bush aka Dr. Ofweneke has revealed the amount Nigerian superstar Burna Boy charges for a concert.

Participating in a Twitter chat, the funnyman said Burna's mother cum manager demanded Sh70, 000, 000 for a new year's concert in Kenya.

The duke of Kakamega had reported earlier that the event would happen only to be amazed by the huge amount requested by the Nigerian star.

It reported that Burna's management failed to accept an offer from Ofweneke and his team - Kenyan concert had to be cancelled.

"Weeh tried reaching out to the mum for a new years event, he is now charging 70M," Dr. Ofwenke alleged.

The discussion was brought up on Twitter by Shanki Austine who said he was willing to pay any amount to be able to attend Burna Boy's concert in Nairobi.

Recently, Burna Boy has been doing a lot of International shows, filling out stadiums to capacity. he is ranked as of one the most successful artists from Africa.

He has released a lot of hit songs that have managed to top Billboard chats.

It's shocking how a fan didn't mind paying 10K just to see Burna Boy performing. It seems weird but that's how love holds.

Comedian DJ Shiti joined the conversation, alleging that he was chatting with pseudo - saying he will hook him up with Scar Mkadinali.

"Ofweneke, that is not Burna's mother, it is my pseudo. You have posted before the prank ended. Come we talk I will bring you a scar Mkadinari and Munga😮😮😮😮😮😂," DJ Shiti said.

Lately, Eric Omondi had requested that international musicians take a break from performing in Kenya.

He explained that the move is aimed at challenging Kenyan artistes to reclaim the music industry.

To add to that, there is a day when Kenyans complained a lot after Burna boy showed up to a concert late than expected.

According to the majority of Kenyans, they felt that their local celebrities had been undermined and it was a shame for top Kenyan media MCs to beg the Nigerian star to perform.

It was claimed that he wanted to leave the concert without performing.
