Gospel singer Ruth Matete's daughter Toluwa is two years today.

The singer celebrated her daughter's birthday by gushing over her with lovely words.

Matete said that her daughter helped her overcome the grief of losing her husband.

"If I start writing a book on how my life has changed since I met you, I wouldn’t be able to finish My child, you wiped away my tears. You gave a me a reason to want to live again," Matete wrote.

Matete further wished her daughter a long life ahead.

"You are my greatest inspiration. You brighten up my days like no one has ever done.

As you turn two today, know that mummy loves you so so much! Long life is your portion in the name of Jesus Christ! I love you @reynatoluwa."

Matete through her Instagram page a few months ago said she hopes to be a mum again before she turns 40.

Matete is currently 37 years old.

Matete's dream is to have a baby boy and another girl or just have twins.

The mother of one stated that she wants a good man to locate her so she can fulfill her dreams or otherwise she will go through the medical procedure.

"In three years, I will be 40 years. Wueh!! Na bado nataka nipatie Tolu brother na sister. Someone needs to find me we do this thing tumalize."

She doesn't want a time waster or a young man.

Ruth wants a mubaba and that relationship to lead to marriage after they date for possibly a year.

"I am very single. There's single and there's very single. I am very single"Is she searching for someone?"

Searching? I want to be searched. The Bible says a man shall...not a woman. Hiyo nayo we cannot change that one please usikatie mwanaume"

Matete said she will never shoot her shot

"Hii mambo ya shot your shot, don't do it, aki let me tell you to don't. Just don't. You would rather go on your knees and say, Lord, open the eyes of that man, let him come to me."

She also weighed in on men taking long to approach a woman.

"Na nyinyi wanaume, mnasemanga two years,"

"So I'm waiting for a man to come and tell me Pastor when I think about you. At my age, do you think I will start thinking about it?

No, it's when is the wedding, but I'm single. These two years, I had told myself I would give myself about two years before I can now think about being with another man".

Matete encouraged the men to shot their shots and that she is very ready.
