Amira, ex-wife to matatu boss Jamal Roho Safi has been nominated for the Scream African Women Awards.

Through her Instagram page, the mother of two asked her fans to vote for her.

"Thank you @screammag for the recognition. Please let's vote and bring this home.

Amira then shared the link on her bio so fans can vote for her.

Murugi Munyi is also nominated in the same category as Amira together with other African content creators.

The Scream Awards was an award show dedicated to the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genres of feature films. 

Originally only having Scream Queen and Heroic Performance awards for actors, the personnel awards have expanded to include actors and actresses of all three recognized genres.
