A girl's WhatsApp chat with her Kenyan man has gone viral.
The conversation has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans who say they would never talk to heri mum that way.

The back-and-forth jabs according to KOT have made people recall growing up with tough parents who would not tolerate disrespect.
The girl is 19 years old and loves to party every weekend. Her mother doesn't want her out and is also demanding answers about how she can afford to party so hard.
According to the chats, the girl lies about where she goes, ignores her mum's calls, and blocks and unblocks her at will. Additionally, she posts pictures of smoking.
The mum asks the daughter about smoking and she reacts "it's not what it looks like"
"The company you are keeping, I don't like it, Associate yourself with people who have dignity. Am so disappointed in you. I don't like the path you are following ..I am angry with you. When you change your ways let me know.."
The mum tried to call her but is blocked. Multiple missed video calls are used to demonstrate this.
"where are you?" The mum asks adding
"I Am worried Ashley kindly come back home" Begs the mother.
Later she asks to go out, but her mum tells her no.
"Ashley do you know the meaning of no, Am not arguing with you"

"You are not going anywhere, I said No, umeanza hiyo mzurruro yako? Every weekend you must look for these fun places to go. Look for something else that is constructive to do. where are you getting all this money from?"
The girl, Ashley retorts
"I'm 19 and I don't want to be 25 going to concerts with teenagers taking opportunities is what makes it live. I am about to do a course in Architecture and trust me...I will not have time for such things "
