Wives deserve a little treat from their men once in a while. The challenge though is if he is a man who doesn't give you an allowance, how will you ask for money?

Content creator Murugi Munyi has revealed just how she is able to get her husband to part with money.

And no, she doesn't do it the kula fare way. She has an easy step. Murugi said on her Instagram stories that she sets time aside and sends a smiley face to him with a screenshot of what she wants.

She makes the deal even sweeter by giving him directions to the shop, so that he doesn't have to struggle googling the location.

In this particular case, the mom of 3 wanted a watch.

"Salivating over this one for myself but I exercised restraint. Might get it for Christmas," she wrote.

Murugi was running errands for her family and buying her son Ethan's supplies were on her mind too.

"So yesterday I asked you guys how you ask your partners for money and if you don't. Let me tell you what I do.

You see that picture of the watch I have just taken? I won't ask, I will just send the picture to his WhatsApp and then I send it and say Rupas Jewellers Yaya Cente, then I send a smiley face. That's it."

Murugi added that asking her husband for money helps her in other moments.

"And then in future anytime he has done something dumb and he wants to apologize or if he just wakes up and decides to bless me, he knows exactly to get the things that I want and where to go exactly.

I like him to get the actual thing as opposed to giving me money, coz the money we have I can be like my husband gifted me, yeah that's me."
