Comedian Oga Obinna and his children have been awarded the prestigious  prestigious YouTube Silver Play Button creators award.

The Obinnaz received the award after their YouTube channel surpassed the 100,000 subscribers mark on the streaming platform.

They shared the news online with a confection that they are happy about the milestone. They went on to promise their fans more exciting videos on the channel.

"So this happened and my personal broke besties,@theobinnaz, were more excited than the owner. New episode of them unboxing it out on YouTube," Obinna shared.

The Play Button is a testament to the hard work and dedication that a creator has shown in developing their channel.

Channels with 10,000 subscribers or less get benefit levels such as graphite, while Opal and bronze are given to those who hit or surpass 1, 000 subscribers and 10,000 subscribers respectively

Among the celebrities who have won the award are the likes of Otile Brown, Desagu, Nadia Mukami, and Mwalimu Churchill

Churchill received YouTube’s Gold Play Button in 2019 after his channel hit over 1 million subscribers. 

Otile brown on the other hand was awarded and the unique thing about him is that he was the first Kenyan musician to surpass 1 million YouTube subscribers.

Henry Desagu, real name Ithagu Kibicho, is one of the more popular online comedians in Kenya.

 He rose to fame a few years ago when his name was synonymous with fighting sponsors and advocating for the rights of Team Mafisi

Songstress Nadia Mukami is the latest Kenyan singer to be awarded the Silver Plaque by the YouTube Community for surpassing the 100,000 subscribers mark. 

Fans have joined the conversation congratulating them for a job well done.

Just the other day, the radio presenter released a new tune "Nakwisha".

He was so proud of the song that he alerted all his fans on his post and confidently said that they can dedicate it to their partners

"New Jam out on YouTube OBINNATV "Nakwisha" check it out and dedicate it to your special person," he noted
