• The family is in mourning after the burial.

• Nimo Gachuiri told of her anguish following the huge loss of Reggie the cat.

The family of Gospel singer Mr Seed has been thrown into mourning following the death of their beloved cat.

Taking to Instagram to share her heartache, Mr. Seed's wife Nimo Gachuiru said that they tried desperately to save his life.

Sadly, the cat named died in spite of all efforts. "Reggie is sick he is taking dawa," Nimo can be heard telling her child.

"Our cat has died" Nimo added in another video showing the remains of the animal being taken away. "And I'm feeling sad," said the mother of one.

"We are going to bury him baba, don't cry," the loving mother then assures the boy.

Sharing a past video of the cat when it was alive, Nimo confessed how the cat impacted the family "He really helped get rid of my phobia."

Describing the cat's last moments, Nimo said of their desperate attempt to save his life.

"We had actually called the vet and he was to come in the morning, we requested him to come yesterday but he wasn't able to. We woke up and found him dead."

In another emotional moment, Nimo added about Reggie,

"This cat meant so much to Kyle, felt really bad for Kyle! Wee this has actually shown me death will never be easy even if it's a cat we really cared about him, and it was sad to see him lifeless."

Two days ago, Nimo shared a picture of their son Gold insisting he resembles her and not the singer.

But she also changed her mind and said that she will try again and maybe this time round the next one will look like her.

"Twins ?😂 or …? Some people really say he looks like me, but I think he leaned more on his dad, but I moved on 😜 nitajaribu rematch."
