Media personality Jacque Maribe has shared a heartwarming message to her mum describing her as the glue that holds her family.

In a post on her Insta stories, the mother of one shared a photo with her mum and spoke highly about her.

She wrote;

"And a girl with her mother, her son's grandmother, her family's matriarch, our reverend, prayer warrior, the glue that holds us together."

Jacque also shared photos with her other siblings and dad while spending time together yesterday.

She was at a burial function of her aunt who passed away early this week.

Through her social media, the mother of one had said that Monday was both a celebratory day and yet a sad day for her and her family.

"Yesterday was a very bitter-sweet day for me and my family. Sweet…because we prayed and voted and won against all odds, and we could celebrate that Ruto indeed has and will always be our choice," she wrote.

Bitter…because we lost my aunt who passed on hours before. In all things, we give thanks. God above everything."

Jacque Maribe rarely speaks about her mum as she does to her father whose strong bond is evident. She describes herself as a daddy's girl.

Jacque's father has on several occasions proved to be the best parent in the world, especially during the time she was arrested in connection with the murder of Monica Kimani.

Last year, she has penned a sweet message to him.

#GirlDad Mr. Maribe, no words could describe how incredibly amazing you are! Happy birthday, you continue to make me immensely grateful to have you for a dad, and a grandad. I love you, we love you...Happy birthday."
