Davidson Ngibuini aka DNG has been elected as the new Woodley Kenyatta Golf Course Ward MCA.

DNG took to his social media to thank his supporters for walking with him throughout the campaign and election journey.

DNG was vying for the position under the UDA party. Here is what he wrote;

"Good morning #TeamDNG, Thank you for burning the midnight oil with me. I am happy to announce that 24 Hours into it, we have clinched the Woodley Kenyatta Golf Course Ward MCA Seat!!!

We fought hard as a Team. We have campaigned hard as a team & have overcome all odds as a team."

Even his opponent, P-Unit rapper Gabu conceded defeat on his social media page congratulating the DNG.

"In every race there is a winner and the one to accept defeat. We ran a good race, and we did the work but this was not our time. We will take the lessons learnt and come back stronger next time. I wish to thank my supporters, my team, my good friends," he wrote.

He also thanked his followers for supporting him during his bid.

"You walked with me every step of the journey, you believed in my vision to serve the people of Woodley. You encouraged me, mentored me, supported me financially, I appreciate each and every one of you may God bless you abundantly."

DNG announced his entry into politics IN 2021.

In a past interview with Mpasho.co.ke, he talked about his Initiative dubbed Who’s Your Leader is about leadership and governance and that speaking out against how badly we are currently being governed and the poor leadership is in politics itself.

DNG pointed out that politics is not only about being president, governor, or a Member of Parliament, as many people assume, but about everything affecting people's lives.
