Award-winning gospel star DNG turned politician has come out to condemn the senseless killing of a Mpesa agent in Adam Arcade.
DNG - real name Davidson Ngibuini - is the MCA Woodley aspirant, speaking about the shooting, he said, "Armed robberies in Woodley Kenyatta Golf Course Ward have gotten out of hand. This is CCTV Footage from an incident that happened end of last week.
The lady in the video was shot four times in the chest and once in her arm. She succumbed to her injuries Tuesday 14, 2022. She was a Mpesa Trader at Adams Othaya Market. Another gentleman was shot and killed outside the Mpesa shop during the same robbery."
He added, "This is a series of well-coordinated robberies and attacks across our Ward which we have reported to the Police. As you can see in this video, our people are helpless against armed thugs. I call upon our security agencies and intelligence arms to help us prevent these violent attacks and murders."
DNG noted, "It is saddening to lose two people at their places of work in the hands of armed gangsters. We have enough Police Stations, Police Officers and Intelligence Personnel to ensure that traders conducting their legitimate businesses, shoppers and residents are safe at all times.
We need action. This is the Capital City! We don't need another Press Conference. We want these senseless thugs apprehended, prosecuted and jailed!"
DNG then declared that if elected, he will demand regular patrols during the day and night as well as additional lighting erected across the ward.
