Mannerson Oduor alias Akuku Danger has now been released from the hospital. He took to Instagram where he posted a photo and captioned it, "Feels good to be back home with family."

This comes a week after he was admitted to the hospital where he had thankfully recovered on Monday, June 19.

Unfortunately, he was stopped from going back home because he had accrued a Ksh823,000 bill.

According to his girlfriend Sandra Dacha, she said that the insurance had taken care of the initial bill but there was still a huge balance left.

She said the hospital had refused to accept collateral so he could re-organise his finances from outside despite having their collateral from the January bill.

She then called upon well-wishers to help them settle the bill in order for Akuku danger to be discharged.

Fortunately, sympathisers came through for him and he managed to reach the target which had by then surpassed Kshs824,000.

The comedian was born with sickle cell anaemia which has made him a regular hospital guest in the past two years.

Akuku danger said that dealing with sickness has not been a walk in the park but he is just hanging on.

Let us hope that Akuku can have a run of great health where he can remind Kenyans what made him popular initially- his great comedy.
