Life Church International's Pastor T has said he will not agree to the fact that men are supposed to pay dowry for their wives.
Pastor T said he never paid dowry for his dear wife which according to him, is the reason most marriages fail.
Pastor T was talking about some African cultures that need to be done away with among them paying dowry and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
The controversial Pastor T Mwangi told Dr King'ori that dowry payment was a form of slavery back in the days which should not be operating in today's world.
"You will always buy that woman for the price of her mother," he said.
"I have a daughter, I can't sell her, she is so expensive that 99 goats that eat grass cannot be exchanged for her."
Pastor T said he told his in-laws that he will not pay the dowry and that the value of his wife is the blood of Jesus.
"They brought some elders but I told them where I come from it's a kingdom and we don't pay dowry," he said.
A few months ago, Pastor T also condemned the rampant expansion of homosexuality in the country.
In an interview on YouTube, he said there is no scientific evidence to back being a member of the LGBTQ but rather it's a perversion.
The preacher explained that the concept of LGBTQ is both social, and spiritual.
According to the Pastor, the agenda of gays and lesbianism is a worldwide campaign that a lot of money has been used to promote.
The reason for the campaign is to push what he termed Luciferianism.
