Pastor T Mwangi graced the album launch of singer Size 8 that happened this past Sunday.

While many remember the event got the crazy altercation between DJ Mo and Ringtone, T dropped some knowledge and gems during an interview he did with Mpasho.

One of the things we asked was what he thought of artistes who started out as gospel musicians and then became secular musicians?

"Number 1, some of them don't have a history of their salvation, we only know that they sang gospel. There are people who tried and saw that it worked for them. So some of them there is no background of discipleship or mentorship."

He went on to say,

"Number 2, the Bible says that shaking comes to deal with people's foundations. It's success without preparation. We have tried to talk to these guys but there is so much materialism and they think that we are jealous of them. Also, mentorship isn't forced it is someone who freely wants it. We just pray that these come back like Jonah."

Had he tried to reach out to any gospel musician turned secular about the issue?

"I tried reaching out to Bahati because of a song he did with a secular artiste and I didn't feel like it settled right with me. There was even a time I was supposed to have an interview with Willy Paul. He heard that I was on that set, akahepa."

Pastor T explained that the issue didn't stop with the musicians alone. He noted that the people who surrounded the artistes are also a problem,

He added that he felt some sympathy for the musicians as he didn't know how he would act if he had gotten money that early,

"Even we as mentors have failed these musicians. I also tell myself, I don't know how I would behave if I had got the money these guys got at such a  young age. You can get confused."
