Former Zora actress Jackie Matubia who played the bad girl Nana is on the wrong side of a conflict where she is accused of conning a small business owner.

Matubia has been accused by the CEO of Sky Art Decor, Damaris Nyamwamu of reneging on a deal.

In a long post, Nyamuwamu details how the deal was struck with the actress and later turned sour.

" This post is not for me, but a cry for the hardworking men and women in Sky ART. When Jacky saw our work, she personally looked for us to transform her balcony. As our passion, we were excited to work with her to transform her space.

We did a site visit and gave her a quote. She bargained and we agreed to give her a 50% discount for a Tag and she agreed. We completed the work as agreed.

Our work involved installing the artificial wall plant, green grass carpet, decor mirror, hanging plants, potted plants, and floating shelves.

Unfortunately, our work was credited to another party who only brought furniture to the backyard. In addition, the other party took photos of our work and claimed it to be their own."

She added, "Help me seek justice for the Sky ART Decor Kenya team and that of other smaller businesses who never get recognized for their work."

Matubia addressed this matter in a vague manner when she was asked about it by vlogger Mungai Eve.

"My mum taught me to fight my battles on my knees and that's what I did. At the end of the day, It's me, that person and God who knows what exactly happened. And you can clearly see, God comes through for His people," she said.

Matubia defended herself saying, she received a lot of hate at that time so she could not post anything.

"The thing that hurt me the most was not even the story. It was the people that came and insulted my unborn baby and my first child, and if I were a bad person, I would have cursed those people. People don't know even influencers get 'washed'; I have like five jobs I haven't been paid," she added.

Kenyans reacted to the damning post that called out Jackie Matubia, here are some of the reactions...

Kwamboka Migosi: This is just unfortunate! That's how rotten we are as a society! Just sad!!

Nyaboke: A whole 50% for recognizing you guys and she does that, shame on her.

Joan Kemmy: Jackie Matubia Always give credit where it deserves. Diana Bahati and Bahati appreciated Sky ART Decor Kenya work. That's what influencers do. However how small someone's work is always given credit.Hii Kenya kila mtu anangangana kusurvive

Lilly Kagho: So sorry Damaris. You've worked soo hard to build your brand. You honestly didn't deserve this.

Betty Kilonzo: Jackie Matubia give credit where due, don't allow someone to get credit for another person's hard work, it's pure evil

Nyasuguta Eve: Hii ni hujuma sasa walai.
