On Wednesday, there was drama at Anerlisa Muigai's posh home in Lavington after auctioneers and cops attempted to storm her house to obtain her property and attach it to the debt of Kshs. 3,399,148.45.
This amount arose due to a decree by the high court over a defamation lawsuit brought against Anerlisa by Mwanainchi CEO Dennis Mombo back on October 26, 2020.
Samuel Mutisya of Samumu auctioneers told Mpasho that their mission was not accomplished as a well-known politician intimidated them by threatening to call goons on them.
A few hours after the unsuccessful storm to her house, Anerlisa posted a photo of herself basking in the sun, with no care in the world, next to her Range Rover.
In another post, she talked to haters saying:
"People who spoil the name of other daughters, but they don't know that they are also having a daughter and someday someone will spoil her name."
Adding;
"Wild spirit, soft heart, sweet soul."
Samuel Mutisya of Samumu auctioneers said;
"I'm here to attach property owned by Anerlisa Muigai on the matter which emanated from a high court warrant against her over an approximate sum of Ksh 3.4m she is to pay from a defamation case."
Adding, "We obtained a court order. We came here with police to supervise unfortunately when we came, we met one politician who intimidated us he even threatened to call goons to throw us out as a result the police were reluctant to stay for us to carry out our job."
Mutisya told Mpasho, "We were incapacitated because there was an issue of security which was a major concern for us, so we could not proceed with our job, we have put a hold on everything and that is where we are now."
