Bahati's baby Mama Yvette Obura says it took her four years to get over her beef with her baby daddy and Diana Marua.

Speaking on Diana's YouTube channel, Yvette recounted how hard it was healing from postpartum depression and a heartbreak from Bahati.

She broke up with Bahati when her daughter was a year old - only for him to move on immediately.

Yvette said the first time she learnt about Diana was through social media when Bahati introduced her as his 'prayer partner'.

Diana Marua described the interview as an unusual conversation but a needed conversation with her fans.

"I met my husband shortly after Mama Mueni had separated with him. We have never had a conversation as it was hard and difficult," Diana said.

Yvette said it was raw and unfiltered so people could understand and relate with their story.

"No sideshows but for co-parenting purpose," Yvette put a disclaimer.

Diana says Bahati was open with her, and told her about the baby he has with Yvette.

"The first time I learnt about you was on social media when you posted about prayer partners. I was like, wooh! At that time, I was not in talking terms with Bahati although he was in the picture from when Mueni was born and along the way we had our issues and we broke up," Yvette said.

"I am just from a breakup, I wondered how fast he met a girl to date," she said adding that she started stalking Diana on Social media trying to find out who she was."

Mama Mueni says at the time she had broken up with Bahati but was struggling to find her way as a new mum.

"In as much as we had broken up, there was still that part of me I was like, how comes, why did this happen, why didn't he give me time. We were young and naive but we had our plans. I was depressed and had so much to handle."

Yvette added that as time went by, they had a conversation and she understood that he couldn't hold someone she was not in love with anymore.

"I let it go but it took time, three to four years to get over everything and to forgive both of you," she said.
