As the 2022 elections get closer, more female celebrities have made public their intention to vie for different political seats.

Most will be vying for the MCA seat while some will be vying for a higher seat.

1. Jahmby Koikai

Jahmby will be vying for the member of parliament seat Dagoretti South.

The outspoken personality is currently an MCee, cum radio host at Trace Radio.

2. Dorea Chege

Known to many as Maggie for her role in the popular TV show Maria.

Maggie will be vying for the women representative seat in Nairobi County.

Dorea is an actress on Inooro TV, a model, an influencer and a businesswoman.

Loise Kim

She will be vying for the women representative seat, Kiambu county.

Loise is a renowned Kikuyu gospel artiste and she is also a businesswoman. She will be fighting to replace the current women Rep Gathoni Wa Muchomba.

Ali Iptisan

The former Nairobi Diaries actress Ali Iptisam Zeid is vying for Nairobi Woman Representative.

Currently we do not know what jobs she is involved in as the show that made her famous no longer airs.

Sabina  Stadler

Former Papa Shirandula actress Sabina will be vying for the MCA seat, Mugumoini ward. The ward is in Langata constituency.

She is an actress and a business woman.

Karen Nyamu

Karen Nyamu will be vying for a second time after having failed to clinch the Women Rep seat in 2013.

Nyamu will this time round be vying for the Nairobi Senator seat which is currently held by Johnson Sakaja.

She is vying under UDA.
