In an interview last week, Zuchu's mum Khadija Kopa said she was not aware of the relationship.
"Please ask Diamond and Zuchu. I don't know since the whole issue does not concern me. Ask the two people involved. If they are dating, then there is no problem," she said.
"They are not siblings. Diamond is a man and Zuchu is a woman. No issue there."
Asked if Diamond is qualified to be her in-law, Khadija said, "You can tell if a man is of a certain calibre if you live with them. Even if I was taking every man at face value, then I wouldn't have married the one I got married to. Ningeolewa na wa kiwango changu.
"When you live with them, you learn more. Zuchu has not told me anything about the relationship."
She was then asked to speak blessings to the two.
"I can't force things. Why should I bless them yet they have not asked me to? All I wish for my daughter is that she gets a good man who will love her and they live happily," she said.
"And one who fulfils her dream. Diamond is not my son-in-law to be since he has not come to pay any dowry for my daughter."
However, she hinted that Zuchu might have been engaged by Diamond Platnumz.
She said Diamond has not gone to pay for Zuchu's dowry and that giving her a ring is not the green light to marriage.
