She shared a video of her in hospital receiving a drip on her left hand. 

The singer has been busy performing and carrying out activities associated with her foundation.

Her daughter, Rue Baby, spoke out about her mom's hospitalisation saying, "Mama youre going to be well soon love ❤❤❤"

Fancy also wished her mom a quick recovery saying, "Mama you will heal 😢"

Akothee's manager and bae, Nelly Oaks added, "Get well soon my love all my prayers are with you."

Her sister Cebby Koks added, "Healing be your portion. ❤️❤️❤️ "
