Akothee explains her demands exposed by Jalango on Luo Festival

• In her rider that was leaked online, Akothee demanded a fully branded chopper, 10 milk white Range Rovers cars, and security protocols that include 40 bouncers, four-armed policemen, and 4 dogs.

Kenyan musician Esther Akoth a.k.a Akothee is still amazed at how fat she has come from a girl whom people thought has flashed her life down the drain to an iconic African brand.

In an open letter to herself, she wrote, "Sometimes you forget where you came from, what you had to do with no support nor name to open the doors for you!

Esther, this time you had only Esther to make a statement. Now, if ESTHER made it on her own to Build AKOTHEE, why do you think Esther can't still contain and maintain AKOTHEE.

Why does AKOTHEE think She needs more people to support AKOTHEE! Why?"

Well, that call for action saw her present a rider that no other Kenyan artiste has dared present to organisers.

Akothee was not only demanding to be paid in millions but also had specific demands for the Luo Festival organizers.

In her rider that was leaked online, Akothee demanded a fully branded chopper, 10 milk white Range Rovers cars, and security protocols that include 40 bouncers, four-armed policemen, and 4 dogs.

The list of the demands can be checked out below.

Akothee is set to perform at the Luo Festival on November 27 and as the self-declared President of Single mothers, she explained the rationale for her rider demands.

"Babe, wacha kucatch ni brand nauza. Bro, hata wewe unajua unalipa nini,"  she told Jalango, "Nimekukatia bei na bado unalia."

Akothee alluded to the fact that her manager Nelly Oaks bargained to get her paid Ksh 1m.

Jalang'o shared that Akothee's demands have exhausted the whole budget for the event.

"You have taken the whole budget!! Anyway kuja tuu!! One day !! I swear one day utawacha hizi mbwe mbwe!!" Jalang'o told the singer.

In another post Madam Boss explained, "Just be happy for me baby. A brand comes at a cost, music comes with a price."

She addressed Jalango saying, "You know you are the only promoter in Kenya who understands my business language. You were the first promoter to pay me Ksh 150,000 back in 2015. Now calculate that 150k times 7 years. How much is that?"

Adding, "You know you even paid me yet I had come to perform for free. Sasa wewe lipa tuu saa hii bila kulia (Now just pay without grumbling.)"
