Jalango has announced his intention to officially change his name as using his old one might cost him the chance to win a political seat.

Jalango's real name is Felix Odiwuor but he fears Kenyans might not be able to identify such in the ballot box as most know him by his alias name.

Speaking during the Morning Kiss, he shared, "I am changing my name to Jalang’o Jalang'o because that is the name that everybody knows juu ukienda kuuliza Phelix no one will know. The deed poll is already done and in the next few weeks I will show up with my new ID," said Jalas.

The announcement did not sit quite well with Kamene who questioned the reason behind the huge decision.

"So umeamua kenye babako na mamako walikuwa wamejipangia na jina lako, umepata pesa umeomoka ukaamua ubadalishe?" said Kamene.
