Comedian turned activist Eric Omondi is busy helping Kenyans affected by floods through his 'Sisi Kwa Sisi' initiative.

Omondi has said he is building an 'ark' to help in the situation.

"There's something we are coming up with it's called Noah's Ark. We are calling upon all carpenters of goodwill, we will archive it in one week. We are preparing ourselves in case of a disaster because we do not trust the government, we are on our own," he said in an interview with Silva Kido

In an Instagram post, Omondi added "His motorized sisi kwa sisi ark will reach victims in the remotest parts of Kenya to save lives and deliver food, clothing, and medicine. Get ready!!!"

Last week, Omondi took a boat to the Athi River area with videos showing he helped save some people out of their flooded houses.

"There are Families stuck on the Rooftops and time is Ticking...We have Saved 34 people Today from 8:30am to 11 am and there are still Hundreds Stuck with Children and Disaster could Strike ANYTIME!!! Last night we saved a Woman and 3 of her Children in Ruiru's OJ region. Our priorities are upside down," he wrote on Instagram.
