Amina Mude has disclosed that she met hubby, Ben Kitili at a Nairobi club called Tribeka. (which was located along the junction of Kimathi Street and Banda Street before its closure).

The mother of two revealed this information during an interesting Q and A session on her Instagram page.

Another follower asked Amina how her family had responded to Ben, especially considering the religious differences between the two. (She is a Muslim and Ben is a Christian).

 "How did your family accept Ben? My dad got angry and doesn't even want to hear about us, even after my hubby agreed to convert," the fan asked.

The charming Amina had an encouraging answer, telling the lady that she should be patient. "Give it time, it took five years for our families to be on the same page. Give it time and support each other. Prayers work, nothing is impossible." 

Another follower wondered what made Amina's marriage work despite her and Kitili having some well-publicised issues last year? "Life has challenges but we learn from mistakes, make wiser decisions," she responded. 

Amina and Ben Kitili have been married since 2018 although they had been engaged for 3 years before that. They had a brief separation last year, with Amina even deleting Kitili's photos.

“I just want to clear the air before you start reading some headlines. Ben and I are currently separated. I don’t know what the future holds but I am grateful for the beautiful memories and definitely the beautiful kids we made,” she said at the time.

In another post, she wrote, “Hey, good people. Some of you have noticed that I have deleted all my relationship pictures on Instagram. Thank you for the concerns,” she wrote.

But they have since gotten back together and seem to be going strong since then, raising their two beautiful children.
