Diana Marua has opened up on how the first two years of her relationship with Bahati were.

This is because of the trolling that came with the fact that she was a few years older than him.

Speaking during an interview with Simulizi Na Sauti, she shared:

''The first two years were crazy but I had to toughen up. 

At the time he had not introduced any other woman on his social except me. Then our age difference came up and people started talking.

For him he was not even concerned, he loves me for me and not for the people.

We only have a 3 year age difference.

I was like. I can't be in the relationship because people were talking too  much.''

His not caring about our age difference and being there for me made me stick by him.

People can be mean out there.''

On what she feels when people call her husband, 'Mtoto wa Diana', she responded

''As long as he is being associated with me. I am proud of him. 

He is my king and my everything if giving him names gives you satisfaction, well and good.

I know he is my husband and I respect him. As long as he is home I feed him and ensure he looks good then that is the beauty of a mother and I can proudly say he is my 'son.'''
