Unlike his fellow band members (read Bien Aime), Sauti Sol's Polycarp Otieno loves to keep his love life under wraps.

The lad who is also known as Fancy Fingers is so discrete that we have never really known who he is dating, yet he has been in the public eye for many years.

What is even more shocking is that Polycarp has had the same girlfriend for close to five years but he has always made us speculate since he has never really gone public about it.

This is in sharp contrast to local celebrities like Prezzo or Colonel Mustafa who have to let us know the very minute they get a new flame. Sorry, I digress.

Apparently, Polycarp has been dating a sultry lass by the name Amanda for many years but it is so hard to tell since they rarely talk about their relationship on social media or engage in Public Display of Affection (PDA) at public events.

A few days ago, I attended the launch of Gilad's new single at Prestige Plaza and the couple was also present. Although they walked in together, they behaved like strangers the whole time they were inside the hall. Believe me I am not making this up.

In August last year, we photographed the two lovebirds holding each other for the very first time in public and for some reason we thought we struck gold. But then again, didn't we?

Not much is known about the lass except for the fact that she is a fashion designer and the guitarist has in previous interviews described her as his strength.
