Citizen’s TV anchor, Mashirima Kapombe has always kept the face of her son hidden.

However, over the weekend, she tagged her son along to the studio to catch Jeff Koinange’s Sunday Live.

The boy, a bubbly 5-year-old called Kenga appeared to be having a good time, joshing with Jeff Koinange in a moment captured in video in Jeff’s Instagram post.

At one point, even having a go at Jeff’s signature soundbite ‘oh my’ as they had a good laugh.

The kid, who seemingly has a little presenter in him, appeared to have an idea of how the news room rolls by instructing her mom, who was recording the light hearted moment to say ‘action’ before rolling the video.

In the aforementioned clip, the assured boy high fives the famed presenter and tells him,

“You had a bad shot at that high five” as they gave it another try leaving Jeff intrigued by the his sheer confidence.

Jeff, under the post wrote a caption,

“Five year old Kenga is the reason we show-up at work day in day out! He showed up at 6 am on a Sunday to catch his Favorite Anchor...” and later thanked his co-worker for raising the wonderful boy.

Apparently behind the officious statures of news presenters are easy moments like these that happen behind the scenes.
